25th bow themed birthday

Welcome to my bow-tiful world ౨ৎ

As I stepped into my 25th year I knew I wanted to mark this milestone with something truly special. In light of my new instagram bow theme, this event was inspired and meticulously crafted with a whole lot of ribbon. From the invitations adorned with delicate pink bows to the bow banners draped around the ceilings and tables, 25 definitely saw a nostalgic throwback to my girly childhood.

Invitations:

As always I handmade my invitations, starting with downloading and editing this Etsy Canva template. I printed the invites on 200gsm card and resized them to fit snugly into a free downloadable envelope template from Fiona Ariva’s website. Each envelope was sealed with dusty rose bows affixed with clear wax seal beads.

Decor:

I transformed the venue for this event with some budget-friendly DIY decor, all done for under $50. Beginning with the trestle tables, I adorned them with 2 lace tablecloths each costing just $3.5 from Red Dot. For the placement cards I used the same Etsy Canva template personalising each with guests’ names in the corner adorned with a bow motif. These cards were then placed atop $5 pink napkins from Big W, adding a touch of femininity to each setting. To add depth and visual interest to the space, I suspended bows from the ceiling using flower wire, readily available from any florist at no cost. Utilizing a variety of pink textures for these bows, all sourced from Red Dot for under $10, this added a charming dimension to the decor. For the circular table centerpiece, I crafted a bow banner using magenta ribbon purchased from Spotlight for $6. Using hot glue to secure the ribbons together, I blue tacked them to the table. Pink chair sashes were added for only $8.5 per 5pc and for a girly touch and white and pink hair bows were clipped onto the champagne tower (made by my sisters fiancee).

Wining & Dining:

Sparkling-
I was lucky enough to receive several bottles of MadFish Cuvée Blanc from Mad Fish Winery. This brut style sparkling presents an energetic fizz carrying notes of pink lady apple, nashi pear and lemon zest and offers a gloriously flavourful, palate-tingling panache of Champagne at a fraction of the price.

Cake-
My cake was made by one of my favourite Perth patisseries, Crumbs. They crafted a stunning 7″ vanilla cake with luscious vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, filled with fresh strawberries and white chocolate crispy pearls. Additionally, there were adorable mini vanilla cupcakes topped with pink buttercream, adding a girly touch to the dessert spread.

Grazing-
As for the grazing box, it was expertly curated by none other than The Good Grocers. This premium grazing box, designed to feed 12-16 people, was a true masterpiece. Filled to the brim with an array of delectable cheeses, meats, honeycomb, pates, and pastes, it left nothing to be desired. Needless to say, there wasn’t a crumb left by the end of the day.

With the last sip of Cuvée Blanc and final bite of cake enjoyed, the celebration wound down. It was a day of laughter, good food, and delightful company. Heres to my girly start to 25 ౨ৎ
